frosty atmosphere at work... ho hum...........
DEBT FREE - MARCH 2012 - NOW JUST THE MORTGAGE!
    MFW 2012 No.148:£1600 / £450.00
    Mortgage - 102,57.16
  • Afternoon all!

    I've:

    - checked online banking
    - made soup
    - made bread
    - made casserole for dinner
    - checked for/done surveys
    - laundry hanging all over the place (bedlinen), and no heating on, so we'll see how that turns out!
    - lunch on leftovers for me
    - all but one of the family took packed lunches
    - whizzed up some stale bread into breadcrumbs and froze
    - checked petrol prices for later

    Still to do:

    - go to library to pick up new books
    - do comps
    - visit Morrisons, with list and younger daughter, stick to list. DD (10) is getting very good at price comparisons - start 'em young ;)
    - pick up petrol, also from Morrisons, as the petrol is cheaper than most other places around here. First time I've filled the tank in a month :)

Have a good day. all :D

  • Hi all, hope you're all having better days than I am! Having problems with my mum as I'm moving out, not good. Work is not going well as I'm trying to get on but other people are messing about/bothering me. Gotta wait until Saturday PM to find out if lady renting a great room wants me... sucky day :(

    Things to do today:-
    • Start packing things and throwing away stuff I won't need when I do move out
    • Look for cheap bookshelf that I'll need
    • Go to flat viewing
    • Change up my change pot for petrol money... so poor this month :(
    Things I've done today:-
    • Cancelled Parkdean holidays booking as need money for deposit
    • Checked online banking
    • Sent Play package off for return
    October Grocery Challenge - £67.18/£135
    Save up £500 - £0/£500
    NSDs for October - 0/10
  • Compliments - Here's a hug :grouphug:, sorry to hear about your sucky day. Fingers crossed you get the room you want. Instead of throwing the stuff away, why not put on Ebay? You never know. Hope your day gets better.

Yargo - hope the frosty situation at work defrosts ;) Work can be hard enough without having a bad atmosphere

WelshWoofer - Well done you! I got a letter from Virgin Media announcing they are increasing their prices. May be I should take a leaf out of your book. I also got a letter from tax office to say I had over paid but that was a while ago and I haven't received anything . . .

    xx

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

    DOG NEWS!!!!

Been to the vets and all is well thankfully - no cataracts, no dry eye, no infection, all working properly, he's just getting blue eyes as he's getting older! Even the vet was perplexed and phoned his colleague to make sure he hadn't missed anything.
Apparently its the iris of the eye changing colour and although not common its not harmful - how strange!

He only charged me for the consultation and not the load of tests he did too - £25, not as bad as I thought.

Doggy has just had a run around the park and his tea and is showing no ill effects after being poked, prodded and fluoresced!
