I thought lenders were supposed to be toughing up in the current climate?

I got approved in 30 seconds for a finance deal today - they didnt even ask how much I earn, just who my employer was

I can't even get bloody broadband due to credit checks :rotfl::rotfl:

  • As I mentioned in another thread, hire purchase is secured against the car, so approval is easier to get.

Credit approval has always seemed something of a lottery to me.

Obviously, I don't know what sort of deal you have, but the main thing is you are sorted.

    What car are you having?

8.9% but it's a PCP so there's not much chance of me wanting to keep the car past 36 months. £500 deposit contribution from Kia + £1000 deposit makes it £75 a month.

£75 a month, that's peanuts for a brand new car:)
