i own my own limited company and am thinking of setting up another business but my business partners have found out and have now told me that by law they cant stop me setting the business up but because my not all my time will now be spend on the first business they said by law they can either suspend me from the comany, make me take a pay cut or take away some of my shares. Is this true?

They probably can do something - but you need a real lawyer to defend your position. BTW your post is confusing, you 'own' a limited company, yet you have partners - so what is your shareholding?0

So who actually owns the company? Do you really own all of it? If not what percentage do you own?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
