What reason have they given for withholding the proof of NCD?0 -
Aviva by any chance?
I have just taken out insurance with Aviva on 2 cars. I contacted them to cancel the auto renewal and was told that it couldn't be cancelled while it was in "the renewal period". I pointed out that the insurance hadn't actually started as one wasn't due to start until today.
I got a reply saying to contact them when the policy was due to expire as they wouldn't send out the NCD proof unless it was asked for.0 -
how many years NCD did you provide to them when you took out the insurance?
Do you have the renewal notice? it should state on there your NCD entitlement.
If you cancelled post renewal date and due to o/s monies etc they will not release, you can ask them to supply details, claims history, your NCD when you started etc up until the point of cancellation.0
