New ebay SNAD rule???

I have just come across this thread on the praise and vent page of this forum.

https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/41265864#Comment_41265864

Read post 5 regarding this new unwritten policy of ebay SNAD disputes and ebay providing a postage label and charging the seller.

Has anyone else heard of this???

Never heard of it and no one that has spoken to me with ebay problems recently has mentioned this at all.

However in fairness I haven't been answering a lot of non urgent emails or telephone calls as My dad died on Tuesday and I can barely be bothered with ebay.

  • Really sorry to hear that Soolin. Take care x
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • To the op, this doesn't appear anywhere on their help pages or announcements section. I have heard of eBay reimbursing the buyer with either postage credit vouchers or giving no fault no return refunds. Perhaps this has been exaggerated to a Chinese whisper?

Soolin, my thoughts are with you at this time.

It was ebay and also MSE that kept me going after my mum died last April - gave me something to do. Keep strong and my thoughts are with you.

Very sorry to hear that Soolin. I lost my father a couple of years ago, and even when expected (don't know whether your father had been ill) it's a hard time. Take care of yourself & your family.
