A421 and A428 - lanes and lighting

Hi,

Does anyone know if A421 and A428 are lit up at night and how many lanes they have? Is it normally congested in the evening, or is it a smooth ride generally? I've tried Googling but can't seem to find much.

They are mostly single carriageway but with some sections of dual. Lit around towns (Bedford, MK) not generally otherwise.

Which particular section are you asking about?

A421 J13 M1 to black cat on the A1 is pretty much all dual now, the last bit opened recently
