Erm, just read the above and thats a bit worrying I have an Abbey account, sent letter to them 2weeks ago this Friday to start the process of claiming back bank charges.

got 1700 overdraft. Will they close the account and expect the overdraft back there and then?

  • Hmmm....I can't afford to lose my accounts with Natwest (Natwest current account with a max-ed £3.6k O/D as well as max-ed £1250 Credit Card and a NW loan for £6k with £3k outstanding), they could merrily plunge me into bankruptcy overnight if they decided to get sniffy with me so I think I am going to wait until I have cleared it all before I consider claiming anything back.
