Try reading my post again - this time a little more carefully.Oh I see, it's my fault that he insults people and he should be allowed to do so entirely unhindered!
A first time poster gets an insulting comment like that and it's ok because they like winding people up? It's hardly likely to encourage new posters is it?
I did NOT say it's your fault; I did NOT say his insulting comments are OK. All I was pointing out was that he likes winding people up, so getting yourself wound up about it just encourages him. And now getting yourself wound up over my comments probably makes him even happier."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0 -
Ah, I see bendix must be his usual considerate and compasionate self .Oh I see, it's my fault that he insults people and he should be allowed to do so entirely unhindered!

OK . send me the bank account details. I'll donate it.
Very decent of you. Fair play. It's worth the £30 just to stop hearing people whine about how unfair life is, and the banks are evil yadda yadda yadda
Well I'm not whinging or saying they are evil.
But if someone made a mistake in a professional capacity, then they should put it right.
It's as simple as that.0 -
Where do you get your imagination from? :rotfl: I couldn't have come up with all that if I'd triedLoughton_Monkey wrote: »..."As if Banks did not have an evil enough reputation, it seems that local Building Society Holmsdale is joining the fray by robbing Tracy, aged X, and Kevin, aged Y, of £15 of their inheritance money for a 'mistake' they didn't make. ......... suggest that Mr Evil, the manager, has now got enough money to buy a bottle of Nuits St George at nearby [posh restaurant nearby Head Office pictured below]....... wonder how much this extortionate charging system for children will encourage other local money-wise children to 'do the right thing' and save their money instead of spending it....."

It's not too difficult.
I am by nature cynical and have spent too many years in a career surrounded by 'backstabbers, office-politicians, money-grabbers, fraudsters, thicko's....'. Eventually, you learn to trust your own judgement, keep out of all the 'flack' and simply observe human behaviour.
There is nothing so humerous as 'real life'.
You may be familiar with the type of personality that is, on the exterior, all 'bubbles', 'fun', 'jokes', and 'life and soul of the party', but underneath and privately is sad, miserable, and deeply troubled.
I am proud to be something of the flip side of this. Miserable, grumpy, and dour on the surface. But underneath, I am absolutely and perfectly happy in my 'misery', can see the funny side of almost everything, and perfectly 'at one' with life [governments excepted].0 -
