Charging a i pod touch?

This may seem like a really daft question....

But can I charge my sons i pod touch using the USB socket on the wii console?

The laptop only has 2 USB ports and they are in use most of
the time.

I thought I would check with all you really knowledgeable folk first:D

In theory any USB port should do but you can also buy power adapters that just have a USB output - like this one for instance:

Have you tried it yet? It should do - you can also buy a cheapy charger from Amazon or eBay, I think I paid about £3 inc postage for one.

I have plugged it into the wii and it seems to be ok. I will look for an adapter over the weekend.

No point spendingI think £20 odd on an original Apple charger, we're in an age of austerity - my charger's white so keeps in fashion with the Apple look anyway
