Other than adimral is there anyone else that will give you an online quote for two cars at once. I know many will give a discount if you insure 2 cars with them but was looking for a multi quote ie one monthly payment for 2 cars 2 people.

What is this obsession people have with having "multi" quotes or "multi" policies? How difficult is it to administer two separate insurance policies? Split them up.0

Most companies online will quote more than one vehicle. Sometimes the discount you get from a multi-car policy is worth it and sometimes its not. It is always worth looking into it. If you have two separate policies with the same insurance company why wouldn't you combine them, assuming the two drivers and vehicles reside at the same household? I was a agent for Farmers. We would always give a good discount for mutli-car policies.Other than adimral is there anyone else that will give you an online quote for two cars at once. ecar insurance do it.
It won't necessarily be cheaper though and of course you should also look at the cover and service level as well.0 -

you try getting insurance for a 17 yr old provisional driver
I've HAD to go admiral multi car for my daughter ............£1000 as a learner instead of £2500 with anyone else
we have 3 cars in total
3 cars on their own = £3100
3 cars with multicar = £1700
which would you choose ?0 -
And have they told you (and did you ask) how much the premium is going to increase to when she passes her test, which you have to tell them as it is a material fact.
You may well find that once she passes the terms quoted are higher than you could get now and you may well be locked into a policy where you will have to pay to cancel. You may also find that the insurers won't cover her once she has passed (search similar threads on here as this is not uncommon).
Unfortunately where something is significantly cheaper than others are quoting there is usually a reason.0 -
Yep asked them how much when she passes test
Extra £500 or there abouts0 -
I have just got a multi car policy with ecar. It worked out cheaper for us but then i bet that's not always the case. If we had an 18 yr old I expect we would be penalised. So far so good with them though...0
