Bank lost my money?

First time using this wanted some advice really,
Last monday (9days ago) i went into a brance of barclays near where i work (not the one nearest my home tho) i paid in £500 into my account (saving account) and £900 into my mums account as she lives 100 miles away from me and this was quickest way of getting th money to her. There was a big que and i was told to use the quick pay machine, i did this putting each payment in different envorlops.
As mine was going into a saving account which i dont really use often i didnt check if it was in! But my mum checked the next day and it wasnt in! i wasnt sure how long it took using the quick pay machines, but i rang up about it and was told they would look into it and ring me back BUT both transactions would be credited next day!! So next day came and surprise surprise no credit!!! So i went into my local brance and asked, they rang the brance i had paid it in to and spoke to them, they said how sorry they were and they would find the money credit it and ring me prob the same day (was a saturday tho) if not it would be monday morning. Well monday afternoon came and still not heard a thing checked both account and still no money so i went back into local brance, again i was told the manager of the branch i paid it into would ring me, i said i wasnt happy with that as they hadnt done it so far and the lady from my local branch phone up and spoke to him directly, he explained he was going to pull all the envirlopes out of the machine now and get back to me!! i question had there been a problem with the machine and she said yes. (why it had been left a week i dont know)
Anyway again noone rung me, so tuesday i go back in again, they again try to get hold of the branch manager and leave a message for him to ring me!! ( by this point im getting really annoyed) so i ring customer complaints, after going into details im told they could temp credit the two accounts while they look into it as there had been a problem with the quick pay machine. She promised someone would ring me back last on!!! again noone did.
So today 9 days in it still isnt credited!!! i ring again to be told we are looking into it and will ring u!! and its now 4.50 and no phone call. i have no idea what to do!!! even managers at customer services dont keep there promises!!!!
