Quick question regarding DPA request!

Hi,

I am starting action against HSBC, there are three different accounts that are involved with them. Can I ask will i need to send a cheque for £30 or a cheque for £10 for them to release the statements for the past 6 years?

  • Hi there i had two accounts with BOS and they never charged me the £10 but i believe they are now. i would send £10 for each account as you will be raising the claims individually. Plus they could in effect hold off for the 40 days and then tell you its £10 for each of them just to time waste
    good luck

One cheque for £10 will be fine, just list all the account numbers you've held with them on your letter. You're requesting all information the bank holds on YOU as the 'Subject' part of the 'Subject Access Request'. ;)
