MBNA Finance - PPI

Good Afternoon Folks,
I just thought I would share some good news from some PPI that I thought I had been mis-sold.
I took out finance on an Apple laptop back in 2006 however didn't realise that the finance actually included PPI. To be fair, I was only 20 at the time so wasn't really paying attention to the finer details... It seems this has been the way for me ever since!
However I feel that the paperwork was confusing and I didn't receive any further information regarding the PPI as I'm a bit anal for keeping onto paperwork.
I have since written to MBNA Finance to argue my corner, they sent a generic response saying they would look into this and have a reply to me within 28 days. I heard nothing and then another letter came through the letter box stating it is taking longer than anticipated... Finally after a few phonecalls I had a response stating they didn't agree with all of my points however they would settle in full plus 8% interest which I think is quite satisfactory.
Just thought I'd share that, so if you have taken out finance through MBNA to purchase Apple products you might be in the same boat!
Regards,
- Justin
