That's very sweet Mike, making a meal that has stuff in that you don't even like, just to be nice to your other half.

I love men that can cook - my hubby does a mean curry, and is generally quite a dab hand (what does that mean anyway??) in the kitchen.

Ooh, brave girl - I would love to have that done (I'm a contact lens girlie, never could find any glasses to suit me). I always think it wouldn't be that bad, until I hear the bit about them cutting the flap in your eye and lifting it up to laser under it......... .

Oh dear, shall I get you something? By the time I'm as pregnant as you, I probably wont be able to walk to the kitchen! :rotfl:

How's it all going? I've resolved not to do any baby talk today, but I love to hear about other peoples pregnancies. I'm so nosey!

Oh Annie, sorry to hear you are having a bad day. What a horrid thing to happen. I hope you get it sorted out quickly. Go on, have a game of Boppit, it will make you laugh (or it might just wind you up so much that you smash it against the wall in a fit of fury, but either way you will feel better afterwards). :D

It honestly didn't hurt. I am the biggest scardy cat in the entire world but wa sdesperate. I couldn't wear contact lens and god knows how many times I tried. ALL the big occasions in my life have passed in a haze as I wouldn't EVER EVER wear my glasses. My grduation, my wedding day, when I was on the telly etc all hazy as I COULDN'T SEE A BLEE*ING THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its such a pity that Boots no longr do it as I doubt that I'd have gone anywhere else for it (particularly as I have a condition that made it a bit more difficult - only astigmatisim nothing too unusual!) AND also was VERY VERY short sighed-NOT NOW THOUGH-YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
