Thanks OP, I bought the Morphy Richards Vorticity today as I managed to damage my dyson sucking up a long thread in a mat.

It has cleaned well in general. I have two cats and it seemed to put cat hair from the hall carpet into small balls, but not actually pick it up. It was great for removing cat hair from chairs and easy to use on stairs. I haven't used it upstairs yet, but I think it will be good for cleaning under beds.

Its worth the buy. Picked up mines this evening and OH put it together very quick and easy. We even gave it a test run and it worked quite good! Am happy I got one. :T

Yes it slides into a white clip at the front. There is a diagram in the booklet.

Picked up the velocity cleaner y'day, very pleased with it, after a couple of years of using the worst hoover in the world (Samsung) it looks like I have a new carpet!!
