You can find more if you use this link: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/ArgosClearance as it is more store specific - you can choose your local. I got my Vax Centrix upright 2 weeks ago for £44 and it is not on that list. These hoovers have been this price for a long time so plesae don't be fooled (I am a bit obsessed with hoovers so know the prices of these, LOL) - but you can find others that are much cheaper that they have in stock locally but are not on the main Argos site, IYKWIM, by using the clearance link (there was a Vax upright for £33 too).0

I havnt got any recommendations but AVOID Samsung at all costs is all I ll say! Mine burnt all my carpet yet Samsung insist the Hoover is 'working to specification'. Appalling hoover and appalling customer service!!0 -

Yes it sure does, thats why I decided to try it, plus the reduction in price is good because it was about £199 and am desperately in need of a vacuum right now.

can anyone suggest if this is good? i have read the review from other sites, its a bit mixed mainly on the leaking. but on vax webby.. it has really good reviews... anyone has got one of this?0 -
Hmmm, I've a Vax rapide and I don't think much of it to be honest, and it leaves the carpet really wet and I use it for the rug so it has to be put outside to dry.
I am a bit of a Vax convert in the hoovering stakes as long as you get over 1800 watts, you'll be fine. The Centrix is a but plasticy but it does the job really well and has really good suction which is all I want it for.
Morphy Richards one is sitting outside, I had it about a yea but things would get stuck in the tube a lot and it used to be VERY loud, i could not hoover at night at all. Also the tools are a real faff and the cord is not long enough so I'd be moving it from plug to plug to get the house donw which used to really annoy me. And it used to fall down the stairs when I got half way but the tube was not long enough to do all if the stairs in one go. I don't think I'd choose that brand again. I've gone back to Vax now.
I keep on thinking I'd love a Dyson but I get a bit bored with the hoover and need a new one and it's a lot of money to fork out and then get bored with it.0
