hello,
we have a hitachi hdr165 digital tv recorder as recently it has been freezing and we have lost bbc1 and bbc2.
any ideas what we can do to sort the problem - the recorder is out of its guarantee period.

I have one of the above, it takes ages to delete a prog, and to switch on and off, ive bought a new remote and its the same, anybody any ideas please0

I'd give it a re-tune of all channels, and leave it switched off overnight, 2 good suggestions for any misbehaving Freeview box.0
