Shill bidding

Ooh this really annoys me! We were looking to buy a wii, saw one local which looked good, seller offered to throw in a load of extras if we collected which she felt were too big to post.
Except on looking closer its blatantly obvious seller is shill bidding on all their items - so we didn't bid, because i was so irritated by this. I've reported all the items but ebay haven't done a thing.
Now, the OH can't get his head round shilling but I'm sure I'm right, have a look and help me win the last cream cake in the house(!)
Item number 160545826849, currently m
***o( 1 ) is bidding on this, and has only bid on items from the same seller, its annoying that you can't check the bidder, unless i guess the letters inbetween!
I feel like contacting all the winning bidders and telling them they've paid over the odds! (lol i really wanted a wii and now I'm annoyed!)

not sure what its called and the precise details, but i had a bidder bid on a couple of items then withdraw bids - they were doing this to either find out how much the other bid had bid or to see howm uch the reserve was, i cant remember which, but it really miffed me. i complained but never got a reply from ebay.
these are the kind of things that give ebay a bad name cos they dont seem to do anything.0 -
It could just mean that buyer lives locally to said seller and wants a few items while they are at it assuming one item got there attention to start with.
Or it could be shill bidding.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I can only see one item the seller has, so cannot see if this bidder is bidding on other things.
Looking at the sellers feedback.....
may or may not be the person in the current listing.

However, looking at what the seller has sold, there are a few items with just one bid, no not the usual shilling pattern.
Contacting previous buyers and telling them the seller is a shiller, will probably get you banned.0 -

They are not the letters in between, but two random letters from the ID.0 -

couldn't they have just changed their mind?]
Maybe people are reading too much into random events...0 -

as bidders ids are now partially hidden, its not possible even if i wanted to. Looking at their bidding history, everything they've bid on has been for the same seller.
Its so blatant which is the annoying thing! Ebay will be getting higher fees from higher end prices so I guess its not in their interest to do owt:cool:0 -
The point is to return to a seller or buy many things off 1 seller isn't uncommon behavour.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I bid on a item last week, and kept being outbid, so I put in my final and last bid at the price I was willing to pay for it which which was just under £60 + £10 postage, yet again I was outbid and infact I lost the item by £1. Fair enough! The following day I got a second chance offer to purchase the item at my final bid price. As I strongly suspected that I was a victim of shilling and decided not to take up the offer. This week the very same item was relisted and won at £36 + £10, should have put a bid in:D

You can find out who has won, but on another site. So in theory you could contact all the buyers.
Unfortunately with the listing you have above, there is nothing there to suggest shill bidding that I can see.0 -
i reported several very clear examples of shill-bidding - with very complete evidence - to ebay last year. all accounts concerned are still running and have been running throughout. ebay really don't give a toss - t's more money for them from raised prices.0
