Just had a letter from Northern Rock about the mortgage - its going down by £35 a month from March 1st :j:j
The deal period has come to an end and the interest rate has gone down by 0.5% since I took it out so that means a lower monthly payment (for now at least!).
Not a lot to shout about but better than going up!
And finally the running battle with United Utilities has been resolved - they have admitted they've been reading the wrong meter and the bill for thousands is not mine!
Thank God!:T0 -

Hiya lily, was wondering where you'd got to;) I'm with you on the essay front - I am master of avoidance tactics...I even scrubbed the patio door frames today...arghhhh what a prat I am:rotfl: Might start now while dinner's cooking - have 1 child crashed out on the sofa, the other holed up in her room (just for a change:p)...so I have half an hour. Once I get going I'm often fine...I just need an almighty kick to make the start:D
Good luck:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

That's me too, I've lost count of the ones that I've started, left, tried again and given up.
I then get to the point when I start thinking about them all the time and eventually manage to just sit and write them. Very frustrating as I don't know why I can't just do that the 1st time I try!
Last unit so really, really want to get it done and finished (which may be part of the problem)!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Also just signed up to the milk&more offer. Not sure I would use them much though as they are quite a bit more expensive than the supermarket and if I get stuck I have an Aldi on my doorstep0
