Playing Games on Mac

We have just purchased a Mac, but when I tried to play games on Facebook, it asked me to download Adobe Flashplayer - which I have done. However, I still can't play any games, what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Have you actually installed it or just downloaded it?
Try using Google Chrome instead of Safari as it has flash built in.0
