Any ideas where/whether I can get family travel insurance for me, my husband and two daughters (both aged 14) so we can all travel independently. I may be going to the US on my own, and am thinking about sending my daughters to Australia during the school summer holidays.

Children can travel independently of the policy holder for up to 21 days at a time.

Fortis does cover kids travelling independant of parents. Also great if parents separated/divorced and the "non custodial" parent wants to take kids away.C. (Ex-Pat Brit)
