I have noticed that I don't throw out as much when I meal plan. Do you do surveys? I do them and the money I make (pennies but every one counts) go towards clothes shopping.0

Glad to hear you are feeling more positive - its awful having bad days but good when you get that positive drive back :-) have you found anything for ebay yet? hope you got your weekend tasks sorted. xx
Hiya MiaowMiaow, sorted the weekend tasks, floors and bathrooms done as well as lots of other spring cleaning! Veg curry done! But didn't sort anything for ebay or boot sale yet. Not an excuse, but the kittens figured out how to pull over the temporary fabric wardrobe in the spare room with all my extra clothes in it! Heard a big crash on Friday, kittens looking v. guilty with wardrobe on floor. Put it back up and went out for the evening, came home and it was on the floor again! Time for a new wardrobe!
Been thinking about the CC, 3 months worth of £300 left, but what if I could get that down to 2 months? Looking at my sig, if I paid £300 in March and again in April, will have £267.08 left, wonder if I could find that money in the next 2 months so that it is gone sooner???? Time to put my ebay plan into action! Also have some CD's I will put on Amazon.[STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Morning all,

Just found and done the snowball calculator, if I continue with my plan of CC first then plough more into the finance and OD after that's gone, my DFD will be Sep 2011. Which is ok but now I have the motivation to get it gone sooner! I have plans this summer; I want to do the garden, and I want some new carpet and furniture (wardrobe for the spare room in particular
) for my house, but I don't want to put any of it on a CC, my new outlook on this is to save up and pay for it when I have the money. I mean, if I can pay off 6k between Jan and Sep at the latest, then that will be an average of £666 out of my wages per month!!! If I had that spare I could easily afford a new wardrobe one month, new carpet the next...... and if say my car needed fixing one month, then I would have the money to fix it! I cannot wait until I am in that situation!
First step is to get rid of the CC on April payday instead of May [STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Have managed to do a whole 2hrs of work without coming on here to post / check other diaries! Well done me! But I have now caved in!
Money saving is becoming boring now, so much I want to buy but keep on resisting the temptation. Thinking of going to the shops after work and buying that glamour mag so I can have the freebie, should help my shopping craving and also need to get some milk anyway
Feeling quite stressed at work, we are a team of 6 but are 3 down this week, next week Thurs and Friday have a feeling that we will be 4 down, leaving me and one other! Although I do have a week and half booked off work after that, but will be very stressful tying up the loose ends next week as well as picking up everyone elses work.
At least in my week off I have some productive painting and gardening planned, and it means that I can satisfy shopping cravings by buying paint! lol.
Planning on the gym tonight as I have stopped hurting so much today, then probaby stirfry for tea.
Really must start looking for things to sell on ebay now, I wrote all that stuff yesterday about paying off the CC early but didn't even make a start last night![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

Ok so I went to get some milk and see if they had any glamours left........... and came out with 3! Got the moisture surge, all about eyes, and the eye make-up remover. Really good for six quid, as I can't afford the real thing at the moment! Will bring my spare mags into work tomorrow and see if the girls want them.
