    Back to work today *groan*, its very hard. Today is like Monday but it is Wednesday - not sure if that is a good or a bad thing really.

    So positives today;
    - last night finished off the last bits of painting of my hallway,
    - being back at work means I will not be out spending money!
    - Only a 3 day week before the weekend
    - the weather is not great, so I don't feel like I am missing out!

    Had a spendy day yesterday;
    - car lightbulb £2.21 (ok so thats not going to break the bank)
    - Shopping; £35 L*dl and £15 Big T
    - Vet; over £50 for consultation and medicine / worming
    - Misc; doormat, lightbulbs approx £15

    eek that is about £100! But it was all necessary housey things and my poor kitten was a bit unwell.

    Have not been to the gym in my week off, so need to go but I am sure that tonight I am going to be too tired so will have to see how I feel!

    I have to make some payments to a friend for a hen do at lunch so more spends, and its nowhere near payday so I will have to be more careful!

    Couple more months and I will be rid of the CC debt though so that will really help me, and just before the hen do so I will have some spenders for that!

    So after work I went shopping today to get my brothers bday present. I budgeted £40 and I did well as I think I spent about £36 due to a 20% off event at HoF! Had a wander round the rest of the shop and I could have bought so much.......... things for the OH, things for me, things for the house, things I just wanted but would never use! First time I have been in a shop like that for ages as there is just so much temptation, but I kept strong and only bought what I went in for, and parking was only £1.

    Out for dinner tomorrow night then to mums for mothers day on Sunday, still need to get flowers for her so more spends!

    Just started reading Twilight (i know, where have I been all this time) so might slope off to bed in a min for a good read! x

    How does Monday come around so quick? :(

    Had to spend today as didn't have a chance to do the food shop at the weekend, bought soup, roll and drink all for £1.70 in the canteen which is really good! The soup is delish and it is 75p on its own then the roll is 35p so £1.10 is great value and it is homemade!

    Yesterday bought flowers for mum but we were creative with her other present - I baked 2 loaves of bread in my BM, and my brother got some cheese and chutney so we gave her a really nice lunch between us! ;)

    Oops forgot to mention that I had to put my brothers present on the CC this month as although I budgeted, I had to pay the full price for the hen do I am going on this month, well its not due till the 16th but thought I may as well pay my friend now as it will have to come out before I get paid at the end of the month anyway. Also in 2 weeks me and my sis are taking my mum to a concert in London so I need to save cash for that, so the present had to go on the CC, but its interest free, and not too much. Just hope nothing else unexpected creeps up this month its only the 6th and I am nearly all spent out! Lucky I carried some forward from last months allowance!

    I am really hoping to be rid of the CC by end of May on payday, and it will be tight, and not sure if I can afford to do it as in June I have the hen do (still with a small budget for spends) but am gonna try because I will be happier for the summer months! I might loosen my budget a little when I reach that milestone and go shopping or out for a lavish meal, and then tighten back up again to get rid of the car finance quicker!

    Oooo I forgot car tax due for next month.

    Good morning everyone!

    Well last night the OH helped me and I was able to pay off the last of my overdraft!!! Yay so that is one debt down and two to go! He still does not know about the CC so thinks that I only have to pay the car finance, but if I told him about the CC he would want to help me pay it like he did my OD and I don't want him to do that for me!!!!

    So, I could pay £400 at the end of April and £400 at the end of May and have my CC cleared, but this would mean I would be more or less skint until the 27th June which seems like such a long way away...........

    Or I might pay it off over 3 months giving me a bit of spare cash for a few things, like clothes as I haven't had any for months!

    Wow what a gorgeous day! Shame I have been stuck in an office for most of it but I am in my sunny garden now! Must get some sun loungers! Great news at work today I got a payrise of 1k, which is really good as I only started in October and wasn't expecting it! Looking forward to Aprils pay now!
