Well this week I am mostly decorating my hallway, and its going slow. Trying to find motivation but I am bored on my own! Also trying to find a colour that I liked took all day yesterday, still not sure about it as you can never tell until you have painted a whole wall!

Managed to get one cat outside successfully, she is enjoying life ;)

My other cat (the farm cat) cautiously ventured through the cat flap this morning, but she was terrified, then she got all anxious and ran round the front of the house looking for an easy way back in! I managed to pick her out of the flower bed before she ran off and brought her in, she was clinging to me for dear life! Poor thing.

Also waiting for a package to be delivered, oh the excitement!

  • I'm struggling to let my kitten go out again since going missing last week. I know, deep down, that he will be fine but I just keep seeing him as a four week old scrap needing to be bottle fed. I need to sort myself out! lol

ahhh, thing is as hard as you try they will get back out there one day! Also he returned home safe and well. Has he been neutered yet?

My 'brave' kitty hasn't ventured out of the garden yet!

    hi Kei!!

Just been catching up on your posts. Sorry with the delay on your debts but you are being really positive and getting on well.

How is the decorating going? It is hard doing it yourself but just think about when it is finished! it will be very satisfying!

My cats refuse to wear even collars - the youngest went mental running around in circles trying to bite it off - tried loads of times but it stresses him out. Thankfully they are both chipped. The older one goes out all the time but she never ventures far. My kitten is now 4 and a half months old - i open the door for me and he has ventured out twice and sniffed around but always jumps straight back in if there is any sort of noise!!
Yours will love the catflap! I havent got one but the one that goes out kind of has a routine so I know when she will want to come in.

  • Yes, he has been neutered and is chipped. I bought him a special collar which says that he is chipped as well. I let him out for a bit after work but he heard a strange noise and legged it back in.

    Hi miaow mioaw,

Decorating is going ok now thanks, just got some more tester pots of paint as I still cant decide on one of the colours!

The cat flap is brill, it is a microchip reading one so I know that only mine can get in the house - I have seen a big furball hanging round and I had to scare it out the garden earlier today! My farmcat took a few steps out today, but still scared!

They are ok with the collars now, although they are not essential because they are chipped, but I want them to wear them for the first few months at least in case they do get lost!

And now it is 3573.91, not including car finance of 227 due to go out on Monday, nearly half way there now! Still keep thinking about all the things I will be able to do with my spare cash when I have paid off this debt and am really looking forward to it! Although it is hard trying to get through this, have cut out so many things.

Getting there with the hallway, finished the prep work and put some colour on it today! I have monday and tuesday off so if I do not get it finished over the weekend I can use those days. Really would like to do some gardening as it has been lovely weather - what a week to have off work!

OH gone out for the night so its me and the kitties with a glass of wine :D

    Happy Friday/ Payday :)

Well done on the hallway, I have a spare room that needs done and I keep putting it off.
Your dent busting is going great, even with the hiccup despite how frustrating for you it must have been.

Paydays are great - shame they're only once a month! Despite all the set backs you're still making progress with the debt reduction which is fab. I guess that although it seems like a set back having to pay out for big things like new tyres if you can still make even the tiniest dent on the debt that month then it isn't a set back at all.
