Car engine under 5 year warranty

Hi,
Hope someone can help here.
Basically I bought a new Suzuki car engine 2 years ago and it was bought and fitted via a garage and cost a £2k. The engine came with a 5 year warranty and the paperwork is all there including receipt and warranty.
Recently the head gasket blew and after two weeks the garage are still not fixing it.
I wondered who / what legal grounds I have on this?
Thanks in advance for your help

Suppose it depends on reason headgasket went. Low oil / coolant etc. Will guarantee garage say its down to maintenance issue and say tough, probably should have taken it to a diff garage for an independent opinion (if they've yet to touch it this might be best bet still), and if they decide the gasket went by its own accord, ie, not due to lack of maintenance, then you might have a case.0

Have you got any service history to cover the period the engine was in the car? As jaydeeuk1 said, if its proven that there was a lack of care on your part due to not carrying out weekly fluid level checks (i.e no or low oil) then you're in trouble.0

5 year warranty on an engine? I would have thought that doesnt sound right.
Is it a brand new engine or a remanufactured one? Main dealer or smaller garage?
Did they give any reason for not want to repair it?
Warranty paperwork from the garage or from the engine supplier?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
