going to miss a payment please advise???

Hi everyone and thanks for the replies!!!

i know im in such big trouble but im trying to turn my life around i just am stressing about this month!!! and every other one until i can get to a place where i can not be scared by bills and look forward to pay day. I have a few hours free tomorrow so going to ring them and bite the bullet!!!! i knew i was in a mess but didnt realise how bad it was or how irresponsible i was being im a wife and a mother and one bad month puts us in this situation??? what if that was my mortgage i couldnt pay? i need to really look at my life as this has scared me!!!

Don't beat yourself up about it - I hope we haven't sounded too critical Good luck for tomorrow!
PS. It may help to plan a few sentences summarising the situation you can just reel off when you call them, and have all the info you might need in front of you, I find phoning difficult and knowing what I'm going to say to begin with so I don't have the stress of trying to word things to begin with help, may or may not be helpful for you depending on how you find phone calls

Going to look at the £££ and then call them in about an hour once i know exactly where we are!!! i feel sick!!! don't worry about sounding critical its just the shock i think of how bad things are i just assumed they weren't too bad!!!

Ok not much further forward but it wasnt as bad as i thought!

i rang and advised them i could not make the payment and was told to ring money management who were very nice but told me because i already had an outstanding debt with them which wasn't up to date (a old overdraft which im paying through payplan) that they could've help me - the girl was very apologetic that she couldn't help and was very nice when i told her of the circumstances she advised that because they couldn't help me now to cancel the DD (done with the bank) and to ring collections team once the payment was missed and see what they can do - this is what i didnt want to do as the collections were the awful pushy ones. This is what ive been advised can anyone let me know if this is my only option and if the info is correct or offer any further advice???

Be ready for Collections to ring you & have a plan ready to repay them in as short a time as possible.

Congratz on managing to ring them Have you been able to work out how long it would take to make up the missed payment?

im going to have to miss 2 payments so its going to take a lot of making up i dont know what sort of plan they will propose to me as i can only afford £20 a month - i just feel like im in such a hole!!!
