Any roofing experts? - parapet gutters

Our house is a mid terrace with parapet gutters running along the full 6m length of both the front and back.
What are the recommended ways of redoing this type of gutter?
The front gutter was leaking badly 5 years ago and 'replaced' with EDPM. Continued to leak a little and the roofers returned several times before ignoring our calls. We later discovered that the EDPM had come away all around the edges (not fitted properly?). After a severe leak a new roofer replaced it with 3 layer felt last year, this also continued to leak but seems to have been resolved after a return visit from the roofer.
We're now looking at redoing the back gutter and called another roofer who says that 'Acrypol' is the solution and would be painted over the old felt. They say that it is designed for this type of job and would last 20 years however it does seem to be marketed more for smaller repairs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
