Have you tried using Internet Explorer?

I've been using Interflora recently (obvious reason) and their site continually fails for me using Firefox, but opens fine in Internet Explorer.

yes it works on IE thanks!

    also deitcardmayhem : yea vista.

the error comes up on lots of sites just costa was the one whose page i was trying to access without luck. could it be blocking pop ups? as i was on the home page but it wouldn't go to certain pages. sorry not hat computer literate!
  • Despite the website appearing to work in IE, you may, or may not, see a little Yellow icon in the bottom left hand corner when you use IE to go on the website.

If you see the yellow icon, it would suggest that there is a syntax or null reference error with the JS which affects the website in all browsers. Click it - it will tell you exactly where in a pop up message, and will be the same error you saw in Firefox.

The newer IE's (and Firefox) use an XMLHttpRequest object, whereas the older IE's use an ActiveX object. If there is no conditional logic to cater for both variants, the webpage will throw JS errors in some browsers and not others.

The Javascript error is either an error to the website, or a lack of compliance to the Browser.
