:mad: I was under the impression the BT Basic tariff did not charge the "payments charge" for people that do not pay bills by direct debit, has this changed recently or has BT made an error ?

Just checked BT code of practice for residential customers and small businesses and it says ''With BT Basic, you don’t need to pay a payment processing fee''.
This was at the time of printing which was January 2011
