I cant believe how quickly and consistently tins of soup have been going up in recent years. Sainsburys have baxters soup at £1.04 now!!!!
Anyone know of any cheap but tastey tinned soups out there?

Was the same soup £0.52 5 years ago?
Some where is often doing deals on the non-tinned soups. Like covent garden etc. You can often find them for a £1. May not be cheap but good quality.0 -

I have to second this. We buy whichever fresh soup is on offer and it can be frozen as well. Covent Garden is lovely quality.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

That is quite a price increase. I have started shopping at Aldi for basic stuff like this and find their soup to be ok. Worth a try.0

Tinned soup does seem to have gone up quite a bit. I generally make my own, but occasionally will buy Baxter's Spicy Parsnip when I can't be bothered cooking.I shot a vein in my neck and coughed up a Quaalude.
