It depend on what your award letter says:

When are you being awarded the Support Group component from?
Have you received any ESA payments at all between 5th Jan 2010?
What were you receiving prior to 5th Jan 2010?
  • the tribunal letter just sates the original decision was set aside and i was entitled to esa with the support component ( in the support group) i was on the basic rate of £60.50 per week when i appealed am am still on this now
  • i was in the wrok related activity group first before my medical in jan 2010 but the tribunal put me i the support group

ESA Support Group component rate is upto £96.85.
Does your letter state what you will be paid weekly?
If 'the original decision was set aside' means you were eligible for the support group rate since January 2010 then you will get the difference between the support group component which is upto £96.85 minus the £60.50 you've been receiving.

Roughly speaking you should receive backpay of:

    £96.85-60.50= £36.35 * 50 weeks = £1817.50

This is a rough figure as you may not receive the maximum £96.85 per week, and I haven't worked out the number of weeks.
  • thanks for the help if im right it might be jan 2010 stopped jan 2011 reinstated

54 week in a year minus the 13 week you get the basic rate for which would be a total of 39 week at £36.35 = £1441.05 i think that's right?

There are 52 weeks in a year, not 54.
