All they would need to do is sell (more) government debt without actually giving the goverment the money.0

Gives figures for a number of years
Shows annual changes to full accuracy [not just nearest '0.1'%]
I wanted an inflation rate for some time in 2002 - it gave me figures for every month
Now try finding this level of data on the ONS site without sweating blood!.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
Find this a good source also for annual inflation indices (RPI and CPI) and index figures, as well as pension revaluation orders etc.

Inflation figures only accurate if ONS gets them right though. And if they happen to get them wrong do they get revised? Well not really, but at least they get told off by the BoE.

The answer..? Earn it today, spend it tomorrow, save only a very little.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Phew!
I've just looked up my Graduate Starting Salary from 1972 - which was 'OK' at the time, and find that today it is worth about £14,250.
Graduate kids these days, I find, from Google, are about £24K.
Let no-one tell you that today's salaries are worse than us so-called 'baby boomers'. I could probably have got Houseing Benefit today!

My history teacher said there was 144 pennies in the pound around then. So baby-boomers never had it so good. That's 45% more spending power init?
