Dishwasher Drawer...

Hello All,
I'm looking into getting a small dishwasher, what they call a dishwasher drawer, basically a tiny one.
Does anyone have any experience of them? How do they fix into the kitchen?
Just wondered as i've seen one on Comet website, but it doesn't explain how it'd fix into the kitchen
Thanks,

I'm pressuming you are referring to a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawer such as this:
http://www.fisherpaykel.co.uk/product/dishwashing/dishwashing/index.cfm?productuid=44944C64-B1A7-2BED-2877F1FA565388EF
This link shows you how it is installed:
http://www.fisherpaykel.com//admin/pdfs/pdf_installations/599683C_DD60S_installA2_NZGBw.pdf
I used to deal with Fisher & Paykel a few years ago. The products themselves are fantastic and I know that the UK service dept. is a lot better than it used to be.
Hope that helps?0 -
Thanks very much!
Perhaps you can help me a little further...?
Basically, i'm thinking it could be fitted in my cupboard under the sink, although there is no drawer there at the moment, is this an issue?
Also, assuming that i purchase one will someone from the company come and install it? Is it possible to have someone to check it's possible where i'm hoping to have it installed?
Sorry for the many questions!0 -
The single drawer should ideally be fitted right below the worktop. If you could upload a photo of where you are thinking of putting it, I could give you more advice.
It all depends on where you get it from, I doubt somewhere like Comet or Curry's would fit it. It's not as easy as fitting a normal dishwasher. I've done 10 or 12 of these in my time, and every one of those was fitted in a bespoke unit.0
