AXA PPP Private Medical Insurance

Can anyone tell me if they know what happens if you accidentally did not attend an appointment and were not able to get through to the private hospital in advance to inform them?

Will the consultant still bill AXA PPP? Will they bill you? Has anyone had any experience of this?

    The consultant may decide to charge a cancellation fee if you missed the appointment without warning them.

    Not all will do, so if you're able to explain the situation when you re-book an appointment then it can't hurt.

    Medical insurers won't cover charges for cancelled appointments, so if you do get charged then you'll have to pick up the bill yourself.
