To supply and fit socket outlets and radial circuit including fuse spur and backing box for under floor heating, supply for wall lights and spare cabling for centre light. arial socket, mini Rcd unit with 2x mcbs, and supply all covers and fixings cables, inc. labour for 1st and second fix, and certs to BS7671 2004 16th edition IEE,IET

I intend to plaster my self but I also need the 1st fix ASAP to plaster etc, then the 2nd0

first impression i got was if that includes a sub mains cable feeding your rcd fuseboard if thats what you mean then this quote is on the cheap side, of course it goes without saying that you have made sure your electrician is suitably quailified, and he is going to register the work under the part p system.
expect a completion certificate to be issued to yourselves on completion,

ps check out the niceic.org website and type your postcode into search for a contractor, although you dont have to use an niceic registerd electrican/company like myself but if something goes wrong they will help you as part of there guarntee bond.

1. If you are in Scotland, then you have to use a competent person ( a registered electrician who has current listing with either NICEIC or SELECT ; or other UKAS body) , or use somene who meets the standards of the above directive. (ps in Scotland THE CUSTOMER not the council have to pay the costs of inspection, testing, certification etc)
2. If you are in England & Wales you should check whether this job is covered by part P (I suspect it may be as it seems to include provision of a new circuit). Use a registered part P electrician who can then self certify.
Also phone your local council for advice.
