Just this week I've had 3 lots of unsolicited items on similar terms e.g. Christmas seals, address labels, cards etc. It's really annoying. Even if they are legitimate charities, it puts me right off. Even worse are the raffle / prize draw tickets they want me to sell. I reckon many people will feel compelled to just send the money rather than try to sell them, but I think it is a poor method of drumming up support. I'd rather a charity made its aims and needs clear and left it up to me to decide if I wish to donate. But they'd get less income as many people are gullible or feel guilt ridden and feel they ought to respond. Just in case anyone thinks I'm mean, I have responded to three this week, as my Christmas charitable giving.0
