    I have done all this, and completely ommitted the fact I owe my dad £6,000 for a loan he paid of for me. He said I could pay it back at £6k when he retires, he retired two years ago and hasn't seen a ben. he himself is in a lots of debt and I in some ways a0 still cannot afford to give him it back b0 feel I am stopping him spennding the money.

    Maybe feeling guilty about your dad will give you the incentive to get your finances sorted ASAP so you can begin to pay him back.

  • Not including student loans which come out my salary I am down to £1500 on my credit card, so I can probably pay him some money in the near future. my real issue is thinking I have money and then overspending.
