    Vouchers are not covered by buyer protection so they will not be able to win a dispute, they may not even be able to open one.

    So all round bu55ered then, if he sends them or emails the code.

    I did, Paypal can be used on quite a lot of other websites :)
    I do as well so a bit of a stoopid question from me really.
    I was thinking about when I set mine up it was just for ebay in those days.

    -> Advanced search

    -> Search by bidder

    -> Enter bidder's userID

    -> Include completed listings

    -> Search

    handy to know.

    Thanks for explaining how, just amazing how much you can find out about someone isn't it. In the OP's case it may prove handy to be able to find out such info.

    Thanks for the insight guys.

    Buyer informed, transaction cancelled, refund issued. Now hopefully the buyer either does not bother to respond, or agrees to cancel so I get my final fees refunded.

    Lesson learned - Paper printout of the amazon voucher goes on ebay.

    Have you got your buyers requirements set up nice & tight?
    Account,
    site preferences,
    Buyer requirements
    You can then set up as tight as you can to cut out some of the scammers.
    Hopefully you get the FVF back.
