  • Cynical me, but if he is over the top insisting on not going through the insurance companies, it could be he is not insured, so maybe better to go through your insurance.

    Hen step I have a feeling he isnt I asked for his insurance detials so I can pass on to my insurance company and he wouldnt give them I said it was fine I will jsut give my insurance company your name/ address/ car make model and reg number so I shall wiat and hear. thanks all again

    Won't make any difference to the outcome whether or not the injured party is insured.
