Hi after posting yesterday I received my loan agreement from the halifax and also after digging about amazingly found all the original paperwork so I feel armed now!
Basically I got out a loan in 2005 so have a policy number for that but then I borrowed more in 2008 so have a different number for each one. I have been missold PPI on each so will I have to make 2 different claims??
The loan will not be paid off till 2013.
Thanks, my mind is boggled but I'm determined to have a shot at this, can't believe banks have been able to get away with daylight robbery for so long!!

Hiya
Good luck on your reclaiming with the reasons you have.
You would deal with these separately, for example you can still make a complaint on the same reclaiming questionnaire if you have the same reasons for being mis sold, and remember to add both account numbers as well, or otherwise do them separately.
However, you can of course even if you do have the same reasons keep them separately - personally I would.
Follow the link below to the reclaiming questionnaire, this replaced the template letter (stage one), send to the head office or complaints dept if they have one of these - of whoever sold you the account(s).
Remember to keep copies of everything as well.
They normally have 8 weeks, but may possibly write to ask for more time, good luck.

I think I will do 2 separate ones as the first time I was told I needed it but the second time the guy on the phone asked me if I wanted it and I just said yes and didn't question it...my fault maybe??
It's with the Halifax so do i send it to my local branch or the one I got the loan from or just send it to head office?
Thanks.0
