Guys and girls I'm having trouble putting songs on my new SanDisk Sansa E280 8GB MP3 Player has anyone else experienced problems?
Have charged the player, installed the software...the player is detected in the software but when I stick a cd in the drive to transfer songs from...the cd is detected as blank?!?!
Any ideas?

I've not seen the software but it will need to be able to convert the cd to another format (ie mp3).
If not you can do this yourself. I'd recommend Cdex, very easy to use:

The software does transfer the music according to the destructions but...when you try to select a tune to transfer from the cd it doesn't see it as available on the disc so technically there is nothing to select?
