Easter break for the kids ideas needed

So we are looking to take the kids away at Easter but we are on a tight budget and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions ?
Here's a bit about us and what we have done in the past: its 2 adults and 2 kids, one 12 and one 6, I'm also pregant. Over the past few yrs this is what we have done:
Legoland break staying one night in their hotel then added a 2nd night at a travelodge nearby
Longleat Safari Park for 2 nights staying in a Travelodge
I have looked at going to Chessington or somewhere like that but as i'm pg I can't go on the rides and DH hates rides so seems a lot of money to pay out for the kids to be the only ones to go anything.
Was thinking of a city break maybe where there is lots to do, any ideas on where we could go ? We have been to York previously, travel isn't really an issue but we're based in Yorkshire.
Any ideas would be greatfully received

We've had some reasonably priced breaks at De Vere Hotels over Easter. Family room deals where children stay free.
Mottram Hall, south Manchester - plane watching at the airport, Manchester city centre, Carden Park, near Chester - zoo and city centre, Slaley Hall near Newcastle, Belton Woods Grantham (not much to do).
All have leisure facilties, so if nothing else you can spend all day in the swimming pool!0 -
Theres lots to do in and around Cardiff, free museums etc.
