I got the phone call today (whilst in tesco).
Of course i knew it was coming, but i might complain, as i never like being charged and then refunded. Means im out of pocket for a few days. There service is normally half decent so maybe i will get free delivery or something on my next order...0 -
Surely if they take your money then the sale is complete? Or are the rules different for online.
I know for a fact however that a retailer can refuse to sell to you if you get to the till and they realise the price is wrong.0 -

'If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the item to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price. Tesco advertised the NDS 3D in the press at the lower price. Are they now saying that was a mistake too? It's not the same as the 20% off coming off online in error when they have deliberately set out to publish the deal. Can't say I'm surprised but have to say I'm not happy.0

Maybe they did their sums once, and it was only when they checked their work that they noticed that they were undercharging/selling at a loss. Still, doesnt look good publicity wise does it.0

Was the 3DS specifically advertised in the press at that low price ? Only adverts i know about are the 20& off consoles etc, excluding pre-orders.
