Tell Magnet if youre........ ANGRY

The advert "Tell Magnet if your........ANGRY" - well i am! we purchased a kitchen from them via our builder, they failed to deliver on no less than FOUR separate occasions, no phone call - we had to call them each time to find out what was going on. Then --sink unit damaged, had to be returned, dishwasher still "not available" and work surface not what was ordered "well this is the one you selected madam" - it certainly was not. The kitchen was for my 74yr old disabled mum - who has a speech difficulty and is too old to be arguing with slick sales people. When i phoned magnet all they said was that they had contacted the builder as he was their customer, well actually Magnet - the "customer" is the one at the receiving end of the goods - so my feeling is that you may be wrong there, i dont see the builder putting numerous complaints and poor write ups about your comapny on a range of different websites, do you??

So - what can we expect to get in the form of compensation for all of the above - we would never, ever use this useless company again and want to warn others about their poor after sales service - is there a website where magnet can have this displayed in all its glory and they can respond? Have written to them via their own site, but guess what...... no reply!

    You have NO contract with Magnet. Legally, your contract is with the builder and the builders contract is with Magnet.

    This is probably the reason why Magnet haven't responded to you. You aren't their customer!
