Annual Travel Insurance

Anybody know of an annual travel insurance that will ...

  • cover all 3 of my children aged 8 to 21 and us
  • accept the fact that my wife is a diabetic
  • be valid in the UK as well as Europe
??

Worst case the last two options are the most important as I can always buy independently for my eldest.

Find a local broker and talk to them. Travel cover is mainly there for the medical cover and that won't be valid in the UK.

Fortis will cover Diabetes (as long as that's all - they change if you have 2 or more PEMC's)
You may have trouble with the 21 year old - if not full time education then they may have to have their own policy as an adult.
Most travel policies will cover UK travel but again MOST say you have to stay away from home for 2 nights to be covered.

The POST OFFICE travel insurance is worth a look as children under 18 are covered free. The 21 year old will need their own policy.
