What is the going rate for a tiler

Hi i am thinking of having my bathroom floor and walls tiled.

What would you suggest is the going rate for a tiler?

A friend of mine said sometimes it is worked out per square metre, but isn't 100% sure.

Depends on the size of the tiles, total area required, whether lots of cutting and fiddly bits, who is doing the prep required, who is providing the materials, etc etc.
Subject to the above, yes it can be done per sq m.

About £30 per metre + materials, but as stated, this can vary with size/cuts/fiddly bits etc.

The going rate for a tiler is what he thinks that he is worth. It's your choice whether you accept or not. Simple as that.

For a full bathroom i'd be around £25 p/m for ceramic/porcelain, more for stone/mosaic and any prep. work would be extra.
