Best insurance for oldsters?

My Mum (76) is going abroad (Europe only) a couple of times this year and I believe an annual policy v 2 x individual trips will be cheaper?
She is in good health now and the only medication she takes are the cholesterol/blood pressure/aspirin tablets so common in many her age.
She had a heart attack about 6 years ago which left little, if any, residual damage and had a small tumour removed last year which needed no chemotherapy or radiotherapy and only has six monthly check ups to check for possible re-occurrence.
Anyone any experience in finding the best policy?
Thank you

There are many companies who will cater for older people - maybe try Saga, RIAS, Castle Cover. These are just 3 I could think of but if you google you can probably find more.
You could get online quotes from these directly and also try the comparison sites. If the health issues don't allow you to get a quote online, give them a ring and they will be able to go through it with you.
If you find any policies that you like, have a look at this site where you can directly compare the features of each policy and find out how it is rated.
