Joint Savings -

Me and My Girlfriend are looking into setting up a joint savings accounts - Are there any out there that can accept joint applications with a reasonable interest rate purely online based.

We both work long shifts and can't really get to a bank / building society to set one up and the few I have looked at so far only accept individual applications.

I really just want a savings account not a current account with it.

Anyone help please.

Currently top payer is Icesave. 5.45%, £250 minimum balance, up to 2 account holders, transfers made by direct debit from external current account, rate guarantee until 2009. See recent threads on the subject.

I agree, I have just opened an ICESave account. Really easy to open, the only slight annoyance was having to send proof of ID to them (copy of driving licence and a utility bill) this went smoothly and my account was opened in about 10 days.
