Registry trust ltd

My wife and I applied for a mortgage but was turned down because of "something" on her credit file. A few years ago she had some money probles with some creditors. She went to the citizens Advice and they set up a "debt arrangement" to pay x amount each money. We never started paying as I sold my house and paid off all debts in full. The only thing I can find on her credit file is the Registry Trust agreement which we never started but it says on her file that it is still due to finish in 2013.She has no adverse credit and nothing outstanding apart from the arrangement we never even started and can only assume that this is the "something" the mortgage advisor mentioned.
Do you guys have any idea how to remove this, bearing in mind we never even started it!
We live in Scotland,if this makes a difference.
You all do an excellent job helping people and hope you can save our sanity!
