Revising approved plans

I'm having a double story extension on the side
which is set back by 2.5m on the first floor above the garage.
My approved plans have a flat roof however I would like a pitched roof between garadge and first floor anyone know how I can get them revised for such a minor change..

I'd give the local authority case officer a call and ask their advice. You might get away with a delegated decision in a short time with nothing extra to pay.0
